Formal Invitation

     Kali ini aku bakal bahas tentang apa sih formal invitation itu. An invitation is a request for a person’s attendance at an event. There are two types of invitations. They are formal invitation and informal invitation. According to webster’s Dictionary, a formal invitasi-invitasi is an invitasi-invitasi which follows a dignified form, tone, or style in agreement with the established norms, customs, or values. Informal invitation is an invitation about personal requirement that is written informally. The formal invitations are printed on special cards.

     Formal invitation can be written as letters and cards. Formal invitations are issued for formal functions. Here are the examples :

1. The opening of an art gallery, a company, or a firm
2. Meetings or conferences
3. The launching of a product
4. A spesial exhibition or promotion
5. Introducing new members or partners
6. wedding ceremony
7. Inaugurations
8. Formal dinner with clients
9. etc.

Social function :

1. To maintain interpersonal relationship in formal context
2. To invite  someone to formal and social events
